SCN System allows you to optionally link your social media accounts to enhance your profile and networking capabilities. By linking social media accounts, you agree to our Social Media Linking Terms and acknowledge that:

• You have the right to link the social media accounts you connect
• You will not link accounts that you do not own or have permission to use
• We are not responsible for content on third-party social media platforms
• Social media features are subject to the availability of third-party APIs

8. Limitation of Liability

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY AS IT LIMITS THE LIABILITY OF SCN SYSTEM AND ITS AFFILIATES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SCN SYSTEM, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES;
• (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES;
• (III) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICES;
• (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT;
• (V) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES;
• (VI) YOUR FAILURE TO SAFEGUARD YOUR PASSWORD OR OTHER ACCOUNT INFORMATION;
• (VII) LOSS OR DAMAGE TO YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS OR PROFILES LINKED THROUGH OUR SERVICES;
• (VIII) ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICES INTEGRATED WITH OUR PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PAYMENT PROCESSORS OR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS;
• (IX) IDENTITY THEFT OR IMPERSONATION DESPITE OUR VERIFICATION SERVICES;
• (X) ANY INTERRUPTION OR CESSATION OF TRANSMISSION TO OR FROM OUR SERVICES;

WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE, AND EVEN IF A REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN IS FOUND TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

Maximum Liability:

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SCN SYSTEM SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID TO SCN SYSTEM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY. FOR FREE USERS, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED TEN DOLLARS ($10.00 USD).

Essential Services Disclaimer:

THE SCN VERIFICATION SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS A TOOL TO HELP ESTABLISH DIGITAL IDENTITY BUT DOES NOT GUARANTEE PREVENTION OF FRAUD, IMPERSONATION, OR MISUSE. USERS REMAIN RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN DUE DILIGENCE WHEN INTERACTING WITH OTHERS ONLINE.

Jurisdictional Limitations:

CERTAIN JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IF YOU RESIDE IN SUCH A JURISDICTION, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.

Force Majeure:

SCN System shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms which is due to fire, flood, earthquake, governmental action, war, terrorism, epidemic, pandemic, labor conditions, power failures, Internet disturbances, or any other cause which is beyond our reasonable control.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is headquartered, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
